Our final stand.
After years of fighting to preserve our religious freedom, it all comes down to this. The final showdown. The last stand. Whatever you call it, we are one vote away from losing our religious exemption to mandatory school vaccinations in Connecticut. On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, the Connecticut Senate will debate and vote on House Bill 6423, in an effort to prevent any child or college student, of any age, from ever accessing an education again should they dare to exercise their sincerely-held religious belief against receiving certain vaccinations. Even if some are ultimately spared by "grandfathering," the reality is that access to education will forever be lost for anyone with these beliefs who did not have an exemption on file with the school at the time this bill is passed into law. All of this is being done in the name of a nonexistent, entirely hypothetical future "emergency" outbreak of a so-called "vaccine preventable illness," one that we have never seen in Connecticut since the religious exemption law was enacted in 1959. This is why WE NEED YOU IN HARTFORD ON TUESDAY! The CT Freedom Alliance, together with the other health freedom organizations in Connecticut, is organizing a HUGE rally at the State Capitol Building (210 Capitol Avenue, Hartford) on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The rally will continue until the final vote is cast. Featured speakers include Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Del Bigtree, Mary Holland, Curtis Cost, Dr. Aaron Lewis, and many more! Free food and beverages will be provided, as well as portable toilets. At last check, the weather is supposed to be beautiful (72 degrees and sunny). In short, we are doing our best to eliminate every reason possible for you not to attend! Parking is available in metered spots on the streets around the Capitol, as well as the Oak Street garage (21 Oak Street, Hartford) and other nearby lots.
